Stefano wanted to bring home the flavor of Europe through the use of natural stone in floors, columns, cladding of walls, archways and décor for window frames.  Isabel agreed with Stefano, saying, “Just imagine the character that we will add to our home by using natural stone.  The warmth of stone will create a stress-free atmosphere, and we will be able to relax in a timeless setting.”
     But something troubled Stefano after all his dreaming.  Where could he obtain quality and variety of stone, together with original hand carving, at an accessible price in the United States?  Fortunately Isabel had the solution.  When she lived in Mexico she knew of a company that displayed unique stone craftsmanship and exported rare and highly attractive stone products.  It so happened that this company, The Artisan Stone Experience, had already established its world headquarters in Sarasota, Florida.
